It was a drowsy summer afternoon, and the Forest was full of gentle sounds, which all seemed to be saying to Pooh, 'Don't listen to Rabbit, listen to me.'

Go to a Forest. Walk slowly. Breathe. Open all your senses.
This is the healing way of Shinrin-yoku Forest Therapy,
the medicine of simply being in the forest.
Old Frog Pond Farm's afternoon workshop will be led by certified Forest Therapy Guide, Nadine Mazzola.
Shinrin-yoku was developed in Japan during the 1980s. Using sensory immersion in the forest and other healing environments, shinrin-yoku has has become part of the Japanese preventive health care and healing.
The fee is $25 for the afternoon. Once you register you will receive more information about what to bring and what to expect. Click here for online registration.
