THE TWELVE OLYMPIANS
SEAHORSE PRINTS AND POEMS - 2001
The seahorse was Hoffman's first experiment with a digital image and Photoshop. The form was taken from a gold leafed seahorse on her sculpture, Taliswoman. Hoffman then began experimenting with the color and texture. As they became their own unique creation, Hoffman named them for the Greek Olympian Gods and wrote a poem for each one.
