AGRICULTURAL TOOLS SERIES, 1998

The Agricultural Tool series was my response to the vanishing New England landscape. I saw housing developments where there were once apple orchards and strip malls where there were corn fields. I put a notice in the local paper asking for old tools for an artwork about the disappearance of farmland. I made this series of sculptures with contributions from neighbors and friends.
