ORACLE ON SAVIN HILL, 2001
The Oracle of Savin Hill is a wandering poet, a person/creature who seems to have lived long ago; and yet can still be found walking the earth. Bark, rope, rusty tools, shells, chain and netting ® abandoned objects are hers. She seems to be merging from the trunk of a large tree. Despite the changes and conflicts of the 21st century he endures.
When you approach the sculpture there is a handle that when pulled turns a wheel of masks. A light goes on and she answers your question with one of her many faces.
