Overheard in the Orchard, a collaboration between writer Linda Hoffman and photographer Ellen Harasimowicz. Our hybrid artist book is a series of twenty-four conversations between a Golden Delicious tree and the orchardist over the course of one year. Ellen photographed the trees, birds, and other creatures, while I wrote down the conversations. Christina Labey at Conveyer Press designed our book. And we finally have it in hand.

I will read from the book at 3:30 accompanied by music by Greg Carlson.

The musicians Greg Carlson, Blase Provitola, and David Elden will play while you visit with each other, enjoy refreshments, and meet the Golden Delicious tree. We will gather under the shade of the Catalpa Tree or in the Studio if there is rain.

Books will be available for purchase and Ellen and I will sign your copies.

There will be guided visits to the Golden Delicious tree. We hope to see!
